After some disappointment and shock following the release of new iPhone 4S, now the world is happily celebrating the arrival of a surprising new feature available only on iPhone 4S. Siri.
Siri is a voice assistant ready to execute every command you say from telling you the weather forecast in Japan, writing and reading text messages for you up to telling jokes whenever you feel down.
“Wow!” this was the first reaction of iPhone 4S users, but wait. Doesn’t all this staff seem too familiar?
Not long ago a third-party app called Siri came up in iTunes and actually didn’t make much noise, but only not for Apple. Seeing the huge potential behind voice recognition technology Apple almost immediately bought Siri though the app still remained available at iTunes.
Everyone was happy until now, when Apple removed Siri app from iTunes and moreover announced to current Siri app users that Siri’s going home…literally.
The app users have been seeing this message from Siri for a short while before it eventually stopped working.
Now Siri is a “feature” available exceptionally in iPhone 4S. This means that even if you update your iPhone OS to iOS 5, you won’t have Siri attached. Lots of iPhone users are complaining about Apple’s cruelty, but there is still a huge line of people starving for the new iPhone 4S!
Siri grew from an ordinary third-party iPhone app to an exceptional iPhone 4S feature thus experiencing the way from rags to riches!
However, Siri is in beta version yet and Apple is constantly working to make it better and more functional than ever. Like the app says in its farewell message, new Siri is even smarter and it’s true. Using this new feature will ease your iphone experience greatly. If you are not fond of typing text on a touch screen (like me), Siri is a real godsend for you!
